Card 2: What message does the waxing moon have for us?
Waxing Moon in Libra - July 11, 2016
Oracle Card: Blessed Change
As Luna waxes in the sky she comes out of her shell, gradually becoming more and more outwardly focused as she appears larger and brighter, backlit by the Milky Way. Our Inner-Verse mimics this rhythm, infusing our days with renewed energy, powering up our stamina, patience and linear focus. The waxing moon in Libra brings a vibe concerned with balance, creating a sense of curiosity down on Earth, a willingness to embrace both the masculine and the feminine energies which run through our veins, out into our auras. 2016 is a year of change and transformation, a duration of time spiced by the flavours of alchemy. Much of this sculpting is happening on the inside, shaping the invisible layers of our subtle bodies, making people feel weird, ungrounded, wobbly and sometimes afraid.
The Blessed Change card reminds me of the hanged man in tarot, showcasing a smiling mermaid hanging upside down, surrounded by the ocean floor with beams of light filtered through the right corner of the card. She encourages us to stay centered as we transition from one phase to the next, and to have faith that we are prepared, qualified and ready for these shifts. The breath is a fabulous way to create balance on demand, and I can hear the mermaid suggesting alternate nostril breathing and any other pranayama practice that appeals to you as an integral part of your Inner-Beauty routine this cycle phase. Every fresh cycle brings an opportunity to recreate our selves, the breath as important during times of stress as it is during child birth as we contract and dilate, express and recoil; labour. Strike a power pose and know that fakin’ it til you make it is a powerful practice, that dress up and make believe are savvy, and that you got this. It’s happening!
