Card 4: What message does the waning moon have for us?
Waning Moon in Pisces // May 28, 2016 //
Tarot Card: 15 | Choose Freedom
This has been a cycle full of choice, change, victory and expansion. The waning moon can make life feel a little crunchy, fueling our inner-critic, often daring us to fall back into old patterns and habitual, safe, predictable and controllable scenarios. Our egos feel cozy in comfort zones, often drowning out the Inner-Child who likes to play and make things happen.
This is the come down, the big low, the phase where we get to see how we really feel about the choices that we’ve made and how things have played out. Our bodies are winding down, letting go, preparing to reboot with the next new moon. If we’ve packed our schedules and try to keep werkin’ it like we did during the waxing and full moon phases, the Choose Freedom card warns that we may feel trapped, blocked, the clear path forward obstructed.
Create space in your schedule and inside of your body and flex your NO muscles, remembering that you are the boss of how you feel and that our Inner-Verse is cyclic, not linear. Remember that all things are impermanent, that these feels shall pass. Rely on your inner-beauty routine and personal practice to keep yourself grounded. Chant to Ganesh if you desire cosmic support, creating sacred sounds that dissolve obstacles, and tune in to Kali Ma for help with creating boundaries and cutting loose what’s tired, calling your power back into your body as you remember that only love is real. Move your life force when you’re feeling stagnant, using restorative yoga, dance and breathwork to create space and express. You got this. I think you are magic
